Resin Furniture & Table Refinishing

Some pieces deserve a new chapter. We explore resin finishes for selected tables, consoles and furniture, keeping the character of the piece while developing a different surface, colour or composition.

Assess the piece

The existing material, coating, stability, edges and condition determine what is practical. Photographs are a starting point; the final proposal may require an inspection. Not every damaged or flexible surface is suitable for refinishing.

Create the visual direction

A restrained stone-like finish can sit quietly in a room. More expressive colour and movement can turn a table into a focal piece. References and samples help agree the direction, while hand-applied work retains its own variation.

Resolve the edges

The thickness, edge profile, underside and junction with the base matter as much as the top. We discuss which areas are included and how the finished piece will be handled, moved and installed.

Design for its intended use

A decorative console and a frequently used dining table have different requirements. Ask about the specified finish, cleaning and protection from heat and abrasion. Do not assume that a decorative coating is suitable for direct food preparation.

What to send

Share photographs of the whole piece and any damage, its dimensions, the material if known and an image of the room. Tell us your preferred finish and practical constraints, including access and transport. The proposal can then define the design, preparation and agreed scope.
