Polyurethane Flooring on the Costa del Sol

Polyurethane flooring is a family of systems, not a single finish. We help you explore the appropriate option for your interior, balancing appearance, everyday use and the requirements of the existing floor.

Comfort-led interiors

A quiet, solid-colour floor can connect a living area, corridor and adjoining room. Selected decorative PU systems offer a more resilient feel than rigid finishes. The actual feel, acoustic performance and appearance depend on the complete build-up, so we review samples and product information for the proposed system.

Commercial requirements

A retail interior and a commercial kitchen should not receive a specification based on appearance alone. Traffic, cleaning methods, temperatures and chemical exposure need to be part of the brief. Heavy-duty PU and polyurethane-cement systems have different uses from decorative comfort flooring.

Colour and sheen

Warm neutrals, soft greys and restrained colours can provide a calm backdrop for a room. We consider sheen alongside the lighting and surrounding finishes. Ask for the exact finish in the sample: a colour reference on a screen cannot communicate surface texture or reflected light.

Suitability comes first

Not every PU product is suitable for every exterior or wet area. The selected system must address sunlight, substrate movement and intended use. Existing joints, thresholds and changes of material still need careful detailing.

A useful starting brief

Send photographs, approximate area, location and how the room operates. For commercial spaces, include the expected cleaning regime and any planned closure period. We can then discuss the finish direction and the technical questions that need to be resolved before quotation.
