A salon renovation is a chance to change the atmosphere without losing sight of how the space works. A resin floor proposal should account for styling positions, wash stations, reception and the daily cleaning routine alongside the visual design.
Choose the mood before the pattern
Warm cream with fine charcoal veining can create a different mood from a plain soft-grey surface. Look at samples beside hair colours, upholstery and timber. Review reflections in mirrors and under task lighting; a glossy look is a design preference that still needs suitability checks.
Describe the salon routine
Identify dyes, peroxide, disinfectants and cleaning products for the system supplier to assess. Discuss rolling stools, chair bases, dropped tools and water around wash stations. Stain resistance, chemical resistance and slip performance must be confirmed for the selected system and exposure.
Protect the details that remain
Record fixed chairs, plumbing, skirtings, door clearances and electrical points before work is priced. Moving and reconnecting equipment should be assigned to the appropriate trades. Existing joints, moisture and damaged substrates need assessment before a finish is proposed.
Plan around appointments
Choose a closure window, allow for preparation and obtain written conditions for reopening and replacing furniture. Do not equate touch-dry with ready for full salon use. Share a clear room photo, approximate area, preferred colours and appointment constraints with Resiluxo to start the conversation.
Try a salon concept using your own photo, then review samples before committing to a finish.
